Trade promotion management

Also called: TPM · Vendor-funded promotion

Planning, funding, executing and settling promotional events funded by suppliers, from budget allocation through to the claim.

A trade promotion runs a full lifecycle: an event is planned with a window and a budget; sponsorship opportunities are offered to vendors with per-vendor allocations and hard caps; vendors commit spend; deliverables are executed and evidenced; agreements are signed; and the funding settles as claims.

Run in email and spreadsheets, each of those steps is a separate artefact and the links between them are reconstructed manually. Run as one object model, the cap cannot be exceeded and the claim cannot settle without its evidence.
